Mr B S Vijayendra, well known technocrat in the field of metallurgy wanted to solve the problem of

A) Needing huge land and financial resource to establish an Iron foundry and  

B) Produce Defect free parts of Iron. 

 

His dream of a Micro Foundry.

Challenging why mass agricultural lands need to be converted to industries, in a country which needed produce to feed the increasing population.  To achieve this,  rejection had to be minimum and production cycles had to be fast. To make this dream a reality he relied on Engineering and Physics. Furnaces were homebuilt and casting machines were indigenously designed and developed. Today, we are proud to produce class leading tonnage to Sq foot ratio's at 450 Tonnes of manufacturing capability per month. Today, In the same space we house a full fledge machine shop as well.

Now for 30 years and everyday products, processes, machines and decisions are engineered to deliver on this promise.
